In Austin, I have had the chance to develop myself also as a professional driver. As soon as I arrived, I got my “Class B” license. For the past two years, I have been driving school buses. Since I requested not to have an assigned route, everyday I figure out the routes and work with different children. I am proud to say that I have been commended on having zero accidents and on being always on time. Eventhough it is stressful, as I am responsible for driving our city’s younger citizens, I enjoy what I do very much. My two favorite parts of the job would have to be:
- Figuring out routes with precision every day and meeting the challenge to be “on time”.
- Working with the children, especially those with special needs.
